This calculator uses Vadalex standard tariffs for the Constanța hub: €12/m² occupied per month, inbound cargo reception (€3/m³, min. €150/shipment), account management (€50/month fixed) and optional handling or customs clearance. Converting gross volume to billable floor space accounts for a useful stacking height of 2.2 m and a 35% aisle buffer.
Tariff structure and calculation formula
1. Converting volume to billable floor space: Billable Area (m²) = (Cargo Volume ÷ 2.2 m) × 1.35.
2. Inbound reception (month 1): MAX(€150, €3 × volume m³).
3. Active storage: €12 × calculated m² (automatically reduced starting the following month for partial stock dispatch).
4. Client account management: €50/month fixed (covers WMS inventory platform and operational assistance).
5. Optional services: Customs clearance (€60 base + €5/additional position), extra handling (€15/hour), dispatch preparation (€1.50/box, €17/pallet).
When a separate quote is needed
For perishable goods, controlled temperatures, dangerous goods or other special requirements, the team must confirm cargo acceptance and pricing. Special handling costs and suitable storage availability require a separate quote.
